The density high energy design, sealed from factory case and anti leak design ensures that these rechargeable batteries are reliable and virtually maintenance-free. The batteries are totally sealed so no need for any topping off with water maintenance. The Genesis NP battery construction includes a low pressure relief valve to expel any build-up of any pressure within the battery case. This vent is completely self-resealing ensuring the highest rate possible of internal recombination is reached with each of the Genesis batteries. The Genesis NP batteries are designed to operate in standby - float - applications for 3-5 years. They can be used over a vast temperature range and can recover even after repeated deep discharges.
